We are seeking our first VP of Engineering to help drive our national expansion. Your work will be instrumental in building the company into a massive personalized wellness brand.

At Fitnescity, we make lab testing accessible to everyone. Fitnescity partners with leading labs, hospitals and local clinics nationwide to offer consumer-facing tests for fitness, nutrition and performance —both at home and in person. Fitnescity customers range from individuals at the beginning of their fitness journey to world-class professional athletes.

Ideal Requirements

·       Attention to detail and motivation in building systems.

·       Strong interest in visual data analytics, ideally in the health and fitness space.

·       Experience in building web applications.

·       Experience in one or more MVC frameworks such as ReactJS and Vue.js.

·       Experience in creating dashboards preferably using D3.

·       Experience in deploying web applications using cloud services such as AWS and GCE.

·       Experience in NodeJS and Python.

·       Experience in SQL and database schema design.

Qualifications

·      You have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science.

·      You must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

·      You should be comfortable working with little supervision.

·      You are familiar with the fitness and/or health industry.
